One of those recipients is Robert Anderson. These individuals are also trained in providing first aid like CPR should the need arise. All bus drivers have been invited and three local drivers were chosen to receive special awards at the event, for their years of safe driving. In recent years, the Houston area has seen high water during torrential downpours, hurricanes, and tropical storms. School busses have also had an impact on our community.
The Transportation Department is comprised of: They ensure busses are running and are safely transporting our students to and from school every day. has declared May 4th, 2015 School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. It can also take a small army of bus drivers, mechanics, and many individuals that work in our Transportation Department. Kindergarten to grade 6 students are going on an all-day field trip this Friday. It takes a village to raise or teach a child. The event highlights the critical role of the yellow school bus in education. Launched in 2007, Love the Bus is an annual month-long celebration held each February. The month-long event celebrates the importance of school transportation.
